Chia Seed Pottery Pet with Michelle O'Loughlin
TUES 29th SEPT ~ AGES: 7 -14 | A whole day of calm, creative fun with clay! Kids can make their own pottery pet: choose a llama, hedgehog, sheep, cat or invent their own. Then at home, add chia, cress or catnip to bring it to life!
Celebrate the colours and new life of spring in this fun, nature-inspired ceramics workshop! Kids will use the slab-building technique to construct their own vase or plant pot, learning how to shape and join clay slabs to create a functional ceramic piece.
They’ll then transform their creation into a miniature spring garden by hand-building and adding flowers, leaves, vines, bugs and other botanical details. Kids can experiment with texture, pattern and colour to create a wonderfully unique piece inspired by everything that comes to life in spring…
